Former NBA player and Championship coach Brian Rowsom set to take over for Lebanon

LEBANON IN. October 29th, 2021. The Lebanon Leprechauns of The Basketball League is proud to announce the signing of their new Head Coach, Brian Rowsom, for their inaugural season. Coach Rowsom has coached professionally for teams overseas that won championships in Indonesia (2018-19), Japan (2015-16), and Qatar (2014). A former NBA Player, Rowsom was Drafted 34th overall in 1987 out of UNC-Wilmington and was also a part of the original Charlotte Hornets.

He is a very accomplished professional coach, an incredible leader, and knows how to help the players we sign to develop and succeed in all aspects of their basketball dreams. Nov. 6th is The Lebanon Leprechauns first local team tryout. Coach Rowsom and the Leprechaun front office staff will be on hand to evaluate talent as we begin to develop our roster. The rest of the coaching staff will be announced in the coming weeks.

TBL is now entering season #5 with 48 teams. The league plays a 24 game schedule between March and May with playoffs for an eventual national championship in June.
